Business Accessibility Empowerment Program

Contact our Projects team

The Business Accessibility Empowerment Program is the result of a partnership between People With disabilities WA (PWdWA), Advocacy WA (AWA), and Youth Disability Advocacy Network (YDAN). Funding for the project was sourced through the Commonwealth represented by the Department of Social Services (DSS) in their Information, Linkages and Capacity Building capacities.

The project aims to link young people with disabilities with their job of choice, and in doing so increase the capacity and confidence of business to engage and employ people with disabilities. Young people with disability involved in the project will better understand how to pursue employment; they will understand the range of tools and supports available for them to undertake employment; and they will have developed soft skills, confidence, and links to their chosen employment sector.

If you are interested in becoming a Youth Consultant, then please complete the application and If you require this survey in a different format for your accessibility please contact Nicola at [email protected] or on 9420 7279.
